Is there a free program that i can download to make a personal photo album? I dont want anything where i have to create an album online where they are pictures of my daughter, i want a free program that i can use on my computer only.

Why is Yahoo Discontinuing Yahoo Photo Albums? This is a feature I enjoyed very much not only could I have photos everyone could view but I had storage that only I was able to view. 2nd Photo Album not Saving or Displaying? I added a personal photo album accessible to a Close Friends only category. It saved and displays properly to that category. I have been trying to find a good site where I can post a number of pictures under several albums/galleries. For example, Gallery 1, then if possible a sub category of each Gallery. I have heard of many others, but haven’t looked at them - Fotopic, Zenfolio, Pbase, ImageEvent, Zoto. I noticed that the premium subscription of smugmug will also put a watermark on the pics. Storage space, ease of use/upload, simple for others to access, perhaps have access to add comments, and lower cost are important factors. What to do about my sister taking it upon herself to make scrapbooks of my personal pictures? My mother past away in 1996. My sister took Power of Attorney over her "Will" & I was left with nothing. I phoned my sister a few weeks after my mothers death & asked her to please U.S. Mail me all of my personal photo's that were left in the family photo albums (approx. 20)...Grade School Pics, School Dance Pics, Child-Hood Boyfriends, etc... My sister told me that she had U.S. Mailed them to me...but I NEVER received them. When I asked her about them she told me that they must of gotten lost in the mail. I have been heart-striken since then. Just devastated. I haven't seen nor heard from my sister since as well. One day about a year ago, I was visiting my daughter (Jennifer 20yrs) & she showed me a "ScrapBook" that her Aunt (my sister) had made & just had given to her. When I browsed it...I noticed my Grade School Photo's, my Baby pics, my High School Dance pics, etc. mostly of my childhood memories & special moments. When I asked my daughter for the ScrapBook...she refused. Well I forgot to mention...my daughter told me that she would have a copy made of the scrapbook my sister had made & given to her...of "My Personal Photo's"...however, now she refuses to even speak to me. Now what? After my mother past away...my sister took it upon herself to make each of my grown kids' "ScrapBooks"...of all of my "Personal Photo's" that had been in the 20 family photo albums. This is after she had lied to me...telling me that she had U.S. mailed me all of my Personal Photo's. & when I questioned their whereabouts...she then flat out lied to me. When I asked my daughter to make a copy of this "ScrapBook"...she agreed to do so...but now since then my daughter refuses to speak to me...& refuses to explain why she is not speaking to me.

I've been told there is an "intermittent" problem with uploading photos but I still can't upload. Why? I've been unable to upload photos to my groups' photo albums (personal and owner/moderator) for months. Somebody said this is an "intermittent" problem but it doesn't matter when, what else I'm doing or not doing, if I do it first or last or anything else. I can't get a photo to upload. It comes back and tells me that the server and the page can't be found. EVERY time! And time of day makes no difference either. I can delete photos, I can create a new album. I can add, edit and delete files and links but I STILL can't upload photos. Sending them by email to somebody who can is a waste because Yahoo! Mail sits there for half an hour or more to attach 2 photos. I've changed nothing about my photos. They are all JPG files as they always have been. They are the same size(s) that they've always been. How "intermittent" is this problem?
