Adobe Bridge CS4 web gallery problems? I have been trying to make an enjoyable and easily navigatable photo album for my clients and found out that you can make a web gallery in Bridge cs4. Present Help For My 90 Year Old Grandma? Hello All, In Advance: Sorry this is going to be really long! Alright, so to start tonight we had a party for my grandma who turns 90 on Friday (the 19th). I love my grandma to death. She spends every holiday with us, she lives 10 minutes away so we are always together too. I am very close to my grandma and I want to treat 90 special because who knows how much time I have left with her. The party was tonight and we are doing a little get together on her actual birthday and I want to get her something nice. Here is a little background on my beloved grandma: -She was born in Italy in 1919 and came to this country in 1947. -She loves to crochet (but she insists that she can get her yarn for free through a friend so there goes that) -She loves traditional Italian things (but my cousin gave her an italian specialty food gift basket. grr) -She loves puzzles -She likes to cook but not too much since she is 90 now lol -She is from Isola di Istria -She loves going to the pool (but again gosh darn it by cousin and his wife gave her something for that too) -She loves going to atlantic city (and yes, someone gave her money to go there too) -She takes great pride in her heritage. Ok, so thats my grandma in a nutshell lol. Also we were going to get her a personalized photo album for photos from the party but guess what, someone already gave her that too! So yes, now I am stuck back at square one. My grandma has always been the hardest person to shop for. Christmas I'm always stuck. Renting a "regular" home & leasing a storefront for my idea is the EXACT SAME PRICE except I wouldn't have a location to host the events & weddings. Should I go for the mini-masion or a reg. home & storefront or should I forget it, all together? Does it appear "cheap" to give hand-made gifts for Christmas? With Christmas coming really quickly, I'm trying to think of gift ideas to give away to family and friends. Help! 60th anniversary gift??? My grandparents are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary soon and I am stuck on ideas. The family is getting together to get them something big, but I want to get them something extra. I am very artsy and would love to make something, or at least have a hand in personalizing it. One idea I had thought of was a photo book (like you can get from shutterfly) with images and memories of the last 60 yrs. But my grandpa doesn't like to have all these "useless photos and photo albums" lying around so that's out. (how anyone could live without photos I have no idea!:) but hey). Does anyone have any other thoughts? I don't mind spending a bit but want it to be something special and unique. Help! Thanks!

how do you downsize your belongings? I need some tips on downsizing the stuff in my apartment. I've already given away and gotten rid of a lot of stuff. But I'm trying to simplify even more. My main issues are that I don't like throwing away things that are still good, and I would rather get money for it than donate, but sometimes that leads to keeping things around longer. Also, I have guilt issues when I get rid of things and I fear regretting it... I try to follow the 6 month rule (if I haven't used it in 6 months it's out!) but I worry that I'm making too many exceptions. Here are some of my main hangups below. decorative - clearly, you don't NEED or USE anything decorative. So where do you draw the line at what is enough to have around the house to make it cozy and personalize, versus what can be considered clutter? computer parts - I usually keep parts when I upgrade my PC in case the current on breaks and I need a backup. Is this just a waste of space? I mean, it's not good to throw those things out (very hazardous for the environment - they leak lead and other toxins!) and it's hard to find places to recycle them anyway. So I figure I keep them around until I can donate them or until I can use them, but they do take up space... right now I have a power supply, hard drive, video card, and some RAM just sitting in a box as backup... is this a waste?? clothing - The 6 month rule works quite well here, but I'll admit there are a few items I keep either as novelty items for when I feel like dressing out of the ordinary or that I keep because it seems like a waste to give them away when I paid XX$ for them and only wore them X times. Is it time to let go? art supplies - This is a tough one. I don't do as much art work as I used to, and the media I use now is quite different. I do more photo and mixed media than before, but less painting and drawing. I have pastels, crayons and markers that I've been keeping for years and haven't used in at least 5 years. They're expensive to replace, but am I really going to replace them if I haven't had time to use them in that long? It's hard to let go when I've been keeping them that long and feels like I'm giving up on my art if I give them away :( art work - I don't know if I can let go of anything I've made. I can always sell my work, but that hasn't worked too well for me so far. In the meantime, it accumulates. Sometimes I do shows, but it's been rare in the past 6 months. I hope to get back into it. This is a conundrum for me. things that don't belong to me - I have a couple things that friends have left at my house during a party or whatnot and that I've had for some time. Is it terribly inconsiderate to give it away when they haven't claimed it in this long? What if they come searching for it one day? gifts - This is a tough one too, ridden with guilt. I have an old vase my late uncle gave me that I don't really want to keep anymore because it takes up space and clashes with my stuff... little trinkets given to me by students or old friends, some of who I'm in touch with and other whom I no longer speak to. It seems blasphemous to give away a gift... How do you handle this one? expensive items - I hate giving away expensive things. I do a lot of photo and have several cameras from when I studied photography, as well as lots of photo equipment. I doubt I'll need it again, and there's no one to give it to really or sell it to, but this stuff was so expensive that I hate getting rid of it... What to do? I can't just throw it out!!! And is it really useful to DONATE specialized equipment? It might just collect dust in a thrift shop :( collectibles (movies, books, music, photo albums) - Obviously, I don't use every movie or book or song or photo album every six months. This is one of the hardest things to downsize, especially because it's a trip down memory lane every time I go through this stuff to get rid of anything. I've managed to downsize some of my collection but it's very difficult. Advice needed! Big time! dishware and useful objects - I never know when to draw the line on this one. Sometimes these things are expensive to replace if you make a mistake by giving them away. Sometimes I get so discouraged when I try to downsize. It seems like so much effort to get rid of THINGS. Nice wedding phrase for gift? I'm getting my friend a photo album for her bridal shower since she is a photographer. I'm allowed to personalize it on 2 lines. On the first line I put her and her fiance's names and on the 2nd line I would like to put some sort of love/wedding saying. I thought of 'Forever and Always' and 'Together Forever'. Any other suggestions??? BTW: I would just put their wedding date but they haven't officially settled on a specific date yet. Also I'm only allowed 22 characters including spaces.

How do they personalize the Private Splash page on MYSPACE? I have visited a few private profiles & have noticed that some of them have their own pictures as the "private" page the rest of us see. Remember, I'm NOT talking about the home page we see after we log in. I'm talking about the page everyone sees when a profile is set to private and thats just where it stops us. So how do they do it? How do they put their own personal pics on that page?Some profiles I have come across have THAT STOP THIS IS PRIVATE page all decorated with their own personal layout. i deleted my photos on hi 5 help!!? i was arranging my photos on hi5 in albums.during the process i downloaded the images to re upload them later after i created some new albums.the problem is the images i downloaded are extremely small when you view them! is there by any chance i can recover my full sized photos? hi5 does not give personalized email responses so i'm depending on you guys.please! they are no longer on my computer guys :(

A present for a friend that is into photography? One of my close friends share the same birthday as Halloween, which is awhile from now but I currently have nothing to do but will be busy for the next month or two so I want to plan what I should get for her as a birthday present. Her most praised possession is her camera, because she is into photography and take amazing photos. I was thinking about getting her vintage cameras but I can not find good deals on that. I might create her one of those album books you can create at walgreens but I dont know about that. She likes personalized stuff so I really dont know what to get for her. I want it to involved the theme photography though. I would get her a photo edit program but she already has some and I dont want to ask her which one she has because it might make it seem obvious. Personalised 21st Present Idea's for My Brother? My brother's 21st birthday is this year and i want to give him a personal present but just don't know what??? He gave me for my 21st a powerpoint DVD of childhood photo's of the 2 of us which also had funny title pages and music along with it. Need Help!! I need another creative gift idea for my boyfriend..ASAP!!!? Okay so, my boyfriend and I have been together for 5 1/2 years, and we have been talking recently about getting married, but neither of us can afford it right now...obviously we're not going anywhere, so it is not a big deal, but still I will be ecstatic when it finally happens. Anyways, so we are high school sweethearts and all, but the problem is, I have always been really creative especially for his gifts over the years. I feel like I'm running out of options. I used to make him really special stuff all of the time, and then I kinda got busy and stopped doing it so much. When I did he asked me why I stopped because even though I didn't see how much he secretly loved them, mostly just appreciation, he was upset. He said he never wants to completely express it, but they always made him feel so extremely loved and cared about, that's why he adores getting those kinds of gifts, it's more special. So, he mentioned a couple of months ago that he would like to get one of those Italian charm necklaces, like the boot of Italy on a nice chain. I happened to remember that and went to the jewelry store and ordered it for him and everything. I know that is going to be special on it's own, but the thing is I really want to give him More this year. Not as in how much it costs, but by how special it is. I've certainly put him through a lot this year, and he has been nothing but absolutely amazing for me. So I really think he deserves something great. The problem is, I have done everything from scrapbooks, to homemade food and dinners, photo albums, picture frame engraving, personalized cell phone and family plan, a puzzle cut up with different pictures and quotes,etc.,personalized baskets, shopping bags full of hot lingerie and stuff for us, and so on. I just really do not have a clue what to do on top of everything this year.
